This project was located in the Olympic National Park requiring lining of culverts on steep hillsides with remote access. Due to the terrain the access to pull the liner in was very limited. The crate could not be positioned by the opening of the culvert and heavy equipment had to be tracked in to fit on the small road way in the National Park. To even begin pulling the liner Allied had to wench the material, ranging in diameter from 24” up to 48”, down the hillside and stockpile the liner by the culvert openings.  The large diameter liners were under extremely high bypass requirements, which were further complicated by increased flows caused by heavy rainfall.  The 48” liner we installed was through a culvert that had a creek flowing through it.
